Mark mended a broken fence post. Came to see the job , gave us a good price, provided the materials and finished the work in the same day. A nice man, good workmanship. I will definitely call on him again if needs be.

Not to be trusted. Arranged delivery of fencing supplies for Thursday. Delivery arrived wrong fence panels ordered. Oh look surprise the right ones are more expensive. So it wasn't just wrong ones delivered. Work was booked to start Monday ( we have proof of text message stating he would book it in for the 7th) He turns up and starts work 3 days early. A - My husband has time booked off work from the 7th onwards to be a home. We never have any work done without someone at home. B - we've not cleared all the area as that was a job for Sunday in preparation. C - we've informed the neighbour the 7th. I even mentioned when the wrong panels were being re loaded, I hope you can get this sorted ready for you to start on Monday. Anyway I come back home and have a conversation saying we were expecting you on Monday as arranged......to be told Oh no I can't do Monday I have a big roofing job on and I told you that.......NO HE DIDN'T, my husband wouldn't have booked time off work. It's highly inconvenient, but he's here, and it is what it is. So I leave as have to take my mother home whom I have in the car with me. I'm was meant to be working in the PM, so I can't return home so my mother decides to drop her shopping off and come back to house sit. When we get back he's packed up and quit the job and left my garden unsecure and left 3 old panels in the car park area- which is fly tipping. I phoned him up and oh look his story has changed!!!!!!!!. Apparently he's looked and the weather next week and he doesn't want to get wet and put himself back in hospital. 🤔 The weather forecast hasnt changed since you stated the job. No I think you've double booked your self and we're not buying your lame excuses. I'm guessing the weather will be miraculously better on Monday for the roofing job 🤔🤔🤔🤔 If you want to reschedule due to weather at least be upfront about it, if that was the real reason, which I doubt. DO NOT use this bloke utter cowboy who will feed you a pack of lies. oh and the half of fence panel he did put up is the wrong way round, despite haveing confirming how we wanted it yesterday. 1 star if far too much for him

He began well but very quickly deteriorated. The painting was very slapdash and barely covered the paint underneath. He managed to get it everywhere: on the blinds, all over the new floor, on the new sockets and all over the stair carpet! He said he had finished putting in the sink but had only put it in the hole (!) and not connected any pipework. The shed that was supposed to be dismantled, was destroyed by him, with a spade, making it impossible for me use again! When questioned he was extremely rude about it!! This man was may be good at making gates or fences but don't employ him for anything else-especially if you're female!!! A major con-man! AVOID!

Hired for exterior paintwork. More paint on bricks than windows. Didn't prepare the surfaces, so it all peeled off. Cost me more to put right than what I paid originally. I DO NOT recommend at all, and hope this review saves somebody else from being a victim. Tried to talk to him, he blocked my number. I would give ZERO if that was an option
